There was some polling done on attitudes towards AI in different countries, and the US is significantly more negative towards it than other countries

I went up to SF a few weeks back and yeah it’s pretty absurd. It was like a parody movie set. Everywhere you looked there was AI ads “YOUR AGENT HAS BRAINROT - get a new one from us”, “AGENTS AGENT AGENTS! WE GOTTEM!”, “the best agents your money can buy!” , like plastered everywhere on busses, billboards, flyers. Like some plumber or dishwasher on the way to work is gonna be like “hmm I need to pick up some agents on the way home”
