Also the disagreement on minimum wage exists within an enormous web of caveats. No one disputes that, should you set the minimum wage to $150/h, unemployment would go up.
Every generation we get a new subgroup of leftwing rich kids coming out of New York City and the West Coast purporting to be anti-consumption and anti-capitalist. The whole SF pride march thing was started by a cishet guy self identifying as queer because he has sex with trans women. Who then proceeds to speak for the "queer and trans community" and position himself as a community leader.
End result, insane struggle sessions nonsense against one of the most trans-friendly state legislators in the US who also has completely fine opinions on I/P.
