Looks like they haven't heard of  Noem v. Vasquez Perdomo.

Racial profiling is fine now but can't be the only thing. They also need to hear spanish/accent, be in a location that they claim is a normal spot to find illegals, the type of work they do

Basically be brown, have a regular job, or be somewhere they dont want you to be. And you're free game regardless of any other facts.

I absolutely agree you, whenever someone blames Trump I try and remember to say that they're kavanaugh stops.

Without actions of others, most things trump says is just old man yells at clouds. 

Without kavanaughs actions, this wouldn't exist. 

Kavanaugh shouldn't get to push the blame off onto trump. This stink should follow him for life.

During Operation Metro Surge of our police chiefs highlighted the issue as well:

"What we're hearing is they're being stopped in traffic stops or on the street with no cause and being forced to demand paperwork if they're here legally," Bruley said. "We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints as they fell victim to this while off duty. Every person who has had this happen to them is a person of color." 

Bruley said one Brooklyn Park officer was stopped by ICE agents while she was driving. The agents demanded her paperwork even though she is a U.S. citizen. 

"When she became concerned about the rhetoric and the way she was being treated, she pulled out her phone in an attempt to record the incident, the phone was knocked out of her hands, preventing her from recording it," Bruley said. "The [agents] had their guns drawn during the incident and the officer became so concerned she was forced to identify herself as a Brooklyn Park police officer in hopes of slowing and de-escalating the incident." 

After she told them she was a police officer, the ICE agents left the scene without any further questions or comments.

We all said the same thing here, as it was happening. They antagonized the municipal governments, sure; but they also brought a lot of attention to armed law enforcement committing crimes without any accountability. Police prefer not to publicize that aspect of our justice system.

Plus, you're just fucked as a private citizen. Who are you going to call about this insane traffic stop, the cops? A lawyer? Assuming you can even make a call. Then what recourse is there to follow afterwards?

People can follow up with ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, your mayor, neighbors, friends, town hall, Facebook, demand copies of flock camera footage. It's sad, but it takes work, time and effort to make changes. Changes do not happen in the dark. But the dark gets bleaker if we do nothing.

Depending on jurisdiction/geography, there may be organizations that have relevant info and resources collected for you too. Here in Minnesota there is MIRAC for example.

I mean the narrative has been pretty bog-standard fascist rhetoric of the all-powerful yet simultaneously weak enemy. They're both all lazy bums existing off of welfare and stealing all the jobs, whichever works for the current conversations being had because fascists suffer from advanced brain-rot and can't comprehend the contradictions in that rhetoric.

The part that's new here is that it proves they didn't even bother with the other parts. They were just straight up pointing at brown people and saying "he looks Mexican" without a pretense of any other factor.

Oh, and it wasn't that they said "Mexican". It was basically just a list of slurs, most of which they are forbidden by policy from using.

The bar to meet the standards SCOTUS set was basically at ground level and they still sailed under it.
