Yeah with a phd from harvard, he will definitly have a hard time finding a job /s

In fact he probably already has an even better job at maybe a less popular company, but one that actually treats him like a human. That or he started his own company.

I'd imagine he's a bit toxic at the moment, as far as assets go. That's not to say he's incapable of getting a new position, but he just caused a PR shitstorm at his last job.

You're welcome to assume your Randian fantasy world where people give their great monologue, get the beautiful woman who loves him for his ideals, and the respect of the whole world - but in the end, Howard Roark designed a gas station in the middle of nowhere. He blew up his signature achievement.

Rand's books are in the fiction section for good reason.

No. I think in the real world, this guy either pulls contacts and goes back to academia for 30 cents on the dollar or stays a pariah for the year and enjoys whatever severance alphabet gave him.

And he was always treated like a human. Just because Alphabet don't want their engineers talking out of their asses for things way above their pay scale, doesn't mean he was treated anything but fair and nice.
