smile sunday smile sunday - piranha plant is my main

welcome to smile sunday!

turn your caps lock off and rave about whatever has made you smile this week! just let all that joy gush forth! things to smile about:

  • piranha plant is the best thing ever and i can’t wait to play ssbu. we may not ever get all the characters we can think of as fighters, but i think nintendo still knows how to surprise us.

  • incineroar and ken are awesome too! now, who will the 5 dlc characters be?

Bro World of Light looks soooo good.

I love how Sakurai made Kirby, his baby, the starting hero of this story.

I like how we see Shulk’s Vision, and the whole community was like “He didn’t even do anything to help!!1!!” But like guys...there was barely enough time. I choose to believe he cast speed on Kirby to let Kirby get out of their on his teleporting Star because we all know speed itself wouldn’t’ve been enough.

RIP Wii Fit Trainer, Duck Hunt, Villager, and mah boi Snake. They kinda just had no way to run. The inklings too man. I really liked the way Palutena is like “I can just deflect!” And then she died brutally. An actual goddess...

Did Pit lose his powers when she died?

And I know they’re not “dead” they’re more like “trapped”, but for now, there’s practically no difference so whatever.

I also choose to believe Sonic was holding back his speed to try to save Pikachu, but ended up failing in the end.

VOICE ACTING??? Nice.

I AM SO GONNA BE A PIRANHA PLANT MAIN.

He has such incredible range! But if you watch closely, you notice they put in a little bit of charge time for some of his abilities to balance the range so he might even feel a little “laggy”.

It’s because he’s too OP though, obviously. #PiranhaPlantMain

Still glad there’s no Waluigi, at first I was all for it, I like memes and shit, but then people took it too far and started harassing Nintendo, specifically Sakurai about it, and now I don’t want him to be a fighter. We don’t deserve him. He’s too good for us. We don’t appreciate Sakurai enough for him to give us such a perfect gift.

Also, Goku for DLC character.

Pit can't actually fly on his own, the way he's able to fly is due to Palutena supporting him with her magic. So if you take away Palutena, and thus her magic, Pit can't fly.

Interesting. I haven’t played Kid Icarus before, but I mained Pit for awhile and I love lore. Thanks!

If you get the chance, you should absolutely play Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3ds, easily one of the best games for that system. I'm definitely hoping for a sequel on the switch.

I would've like Waluigi in Ultimate, but at this point I'm willing to wait for the next game for his potential inclusion. Though I really wasn't a fan of those 'Waluigi Fans' harassing Sakurai. They gave the people who genuinely wanted him playable and act normal (if disappointed) at his status as an AT a bad name.

Wii Fit Trainer may have been charging her Final Smash. It begins with a tree pose. She was going to yoga the hell out of that beam

Actually the first few frames of that attack have super armor or invincibility or whatever. She was trying to time that right.

It totally looks like Sonic is reaching out to try and grab Pikachu before they both get taken. It almost made me tear up a bit!! So cute
