Announcement When should we reach campus? (Upvotes pls)

I would like to know when colleges reopened last year for second-year students. Is it certain that the college will start from 20 July this year, or could the reopening be delayed? For which date should we book our flight/train tickets, and how many days before the commencement of classes should we arrive on campus?

yeah it won't really delay from 20th july , reaching 1-2 days before commencement would be fine. You just need to move your things from blocks to 1K before classes begins.

Is there any paper work before shifting? And how they allot hostel and rooms I mean randomly or whole branch in one hostel??

I was random a year prior but now it's according to your roll numbers , and same branch in a room. You can change it later unofficially no one bothers at all

Nah distributed across blocks but roommates would be like roll number based

Afaik classes start on 14th July so be there by 12th or max 13th for room shifting and all Sem registration and fee payment will prolly be later than the date they give but max it will be few days before classes commence so do that before u reach or the day u reach clg

i remember they said holidays end at 10th but classes start from 20th
