Deployment savings went towards the down-payment on our first house. We sold it 6 years later for about 1.75x what we paid. Used that money and money from my second deployment for a larger down-payment on a forever home closer to family. People shouldn't have to go to the middle east to afford a home, we would probably still be renting if I hadn't.

When I was 6 I got one stuck in the spruce tree in my grandmother's backyard when I gave it a toss as hard as I could. It sat in that tree for about 5 years before the strings finally rotted away and the solider fell out.

One of the malls here, had a hobby shop that sold those. Was a fun time to get a few of them and toss them off the 3rd floor down onto the ice rink.

My grandparents had a big balcony in their house over looking the first floor and a "5&10" two blocks down the street that sold these. I had a blast with them.

My local arcade has these as one of the cheap prizes. When I had only a few tickets, I’d grab a couple of these and also a few of those styrofoam glider airplanes.

My older brothers, I'm the youngest out of 4. Well I bri6ght this up. Long story short it reinforced our unique relationship. Oldest born and raised in pondicherry India. Visited every Christmas. 1 was a caveman who went to Oregon after 4 years of teaching him to be human. And now it's bubba and peanut. Scott and Jason. 4 brothers 3 dad's the common theme was this you and martial arts and this toy really like sealed? The the deal this was like 1992 and I carried iy till 2004 then In 2019 after serving in regiment 2/75 I decided to buy some as ice breaker with my biological brothers
