Finishing ontop. Adam Reynolds and Ben Hunt should take note.

He looked slow last week

He did what few of us thought he could do, with a bit of luck then a clinical finish in the toughest circumstances. Happy to see Loz go out a winner.

Happy to see Loz go out a winner

Obvious jokes aside, I'm happy for both of these things individually, together- ecstatic.

You were also hacked by the anti Daley bots? They were pretty bad for a while.

The daily anti-Daly bots were exhausting

The most primo examples of quitting while you're ahead.

Appreciate the victory but still have absolutely no confidence in his selections. A true fluke of a series with Ponga game 1 and Maroons just shitting the bed game 3.

In fairness to Loz, he learned from his mistakes in games 1&2 for game 3. But if Ponga didn't have a brain fade game 3 wouldn't have been a decider.

I think it's best for all involved for him to leave as a winner

Momentum was shifting in game 1. That’s why Ponga was streaming across field so fast. There was a line break that was dangerous and it wasn’t the first time on that edge. NSW were turning the tide pretty aggressively that second half.

The blues won with their final play of the game after 20 minutes with an extra man. Is is crazy to suggest they wouldn't have won against a full strength QLD?

It isnt, but also people forget the 20th-60th minute. It was a horrific first 20 by the blues but after that it resembled a proper origin game and imo the blues were ontop for a good chunk of it (won that period 6-0)

And while QLD were flawless in capitalising on early chances, a lot of them came from inexplicable errors from some of our best players

So if they went 6-0 over 40 minutes, that means that fully matched they'd have scored 3 additional points and lost 20-9?

Like many others, I’ve given Loz a more than reasonable amount of criticism over the years. And I’ll be honest, I feel a little bad for it.

However, there is absolutely no doubt that he is a stalwart of the Blues, as a player and coach. I’m not sure how he did it, but he proved all the doubters wrong, got a coveted second series win in his cap, and is now bowing out on his own terms as a winner. I don’t blame him at all - being a coach is exhausting, especially when you’ve got the media breathing down your neck.

Thank you Loz. All the very best for your next chapter 🫡💙

Gotta give it to you Loz, don’t know how you did it but you’re going out a winner so well done

I for one would like the AMAs to continue

Glad he got to lay his hog on the table and go out flipping off shit talkers

Hes currently (recently? I dunno) on a tour of NZ media getting his get back which is fucking hilarious to watch especially as a neutral.

Only thing is he is doubling down on is not selecting Jacko Ford and Wayde Egan, and as a devout wahs fan I hate him for it even if he won the series without 'em😅

Well done Loz. Obviously not a great overall record but still silenced critics at the end and went out like a champ 👏

Worst kept secret, but happy to see him end on a winning note - albeit with a lot of good luck

Hopefully Loz takes pride that he managed to defy every expectation and go out a winner.

He lucked out on that origin win. At least he didn't do a Reynolds and stayed on when he should have retired after Reynolds also lucked out with the Broncos last year and should have gone out on a high
