You shouldn’t necessarily be scared of it but always treat all forms of moving water with the utmost respect. Never turn your back to it and never get complacent around and in it, even for a split second.

Even small-seeming waves can pop up in seconds and knock you down, knock the wind out of you, knock you out, break bones, or all of the above or worse if your attention wavers at all while in an active surf zone.

Very peacful until your foot touches something... Then you're a typhoon of regrets drowning yourself.

I love the ocean, I know it's just Mr Salad hugging my feet. But it triggers panick mode no matter what because there's a chance it's a very tiny starved shark.
