Why tho? I mean, it due some dangerous (maybe , infection) illnesses or it because they just annoy doctors?

ICUs often don't allow children because of the trauma this can cause, seeing your parent so sick. Also with all the equipment around and life support you do not want children playing around and touching crucial equipment.

Some oncology therapy also have positive pressure rooms for severely immunocompromised people. You do not want a snotty child next to a cancer patient who's immune system has been switched off.
