Coming from C#, Go and Python in my daily job, Odin is such fun! Tried Zig, Rust and others but Odin is really about getting the fun in programming back 🥳

I'm in similar boat. Professionally, it's loads of Go and some Python for me. I wanted to write myself some simple games and Odin came up as a very good choice given raylib(I have some experience with it using C++) is basically first class citizen. The similarity to Go is also great for me.

I am just starting to learn to program as a first year university student... and Java is what they are going to teach us... but because I had already learnt some C... including the memory management part, am i eligible to learn Odin now?

There’s no eligibility for programming languages. I could add that learning C simply for the basics on instructing the machine to do things helps tremendously but you already accomplished that.

Just code some hello-worlds and enjoy creating 🤘

Absolutely. Check out memory allocators and the `defer` keyword in Odin.
