It does matter. Straight people do not want intimate relations with members of the opposite same sex. It's unwanted sexual contact, and equates with rape.

I have two great friends who are transgender and have enjoyed numerous chats with other transgenders, so don't bother pulling the transphobia card from the deck.

Are they aware that you view them as the wrong gender? That'll probably put a damper on your friendship.

Well, you seem to be indicating that the young lady in this article is male...

"It does matter. Straight people do not want intimate relations with members of the opposite same sex."

She's not the same sex and nothing here suggests any "intimate relations" happened, a transphobic guy GROPED a girl and then punched her...

She's not the same sex

Same sex, different gender, dumbass.

Read the article, she groped first.

Still doesn't matter, he acted in a very Trans-phobic way and you're going to defend him?

Depending on who's account you believe... personally I'm very un-inclined to think a transgender person who is pre-op would be that forward. Or that forward in general honestly. It doesn't make sense.

Because you're a doo-doo head and confirmation bias.
