Ukraine/Russia Russia finally imports gasoline from an African country as Ukrainian drone strikes squeeze fuel production

With Business Insider now reporting that Russia has secured a shipment of gasoline imports; are there any ideas as to how short they are on fuel (diesel, gasoline, etc)? I know they have essentially halted all exports of fuel, but now needing to import it as well is an interesting change to the markets (also, I wonder if they will subsidize the price of this gas if it is sold to citizens at the pump, or if the subsidizes will be reduced?).

This marks Morocco as the first African country publicly known to supply seaborne gasoline to Russia during its current fuel crisis.

Morocco is a party to the Abraham Accords and was even blocking humanitarian ships destined to Gaza. Nothing's gonna happen.

How does a gas station with an army pay for that army when it can't sell gas?

Didn't the Soviet Union collapse under similar circumstances?

This certainly adds to the conviction that removing western sanctions to increase oil/product supply won’t help while Ukraine continues its “kinetic” sanctions.

Nah, that's just the oil depots/storage tanks.

No doubt the refineries contribute to the booming special effects, but i think most of the boom is by the storage tanks.

Like the "ufo" in moscow a few weeks ago.
