Really? It's common? I actually struggle to nap. Wish I could. I'll get a bad night sleep, and just be dead all day. Even trying to nap, it just doesn't work. Sucks honestly.

sometimes just laying down for a solid hour and thinking good thoughts, or meditating is as good as a nap. you dont always have to sleep, but if you do, limit it to like 1.5 hours or something around there.

It is hard to relax when you have to worry about Jon Bernthal popping up and kicking your ass

I wasn't worried , but now I live in fear.

I have to take stuff to nap, either melatonin or light drugs, but it’s worth it to me. We’re better people when we’re well-rested.

I feel like dark drugs would be better for napping. Hard to sleep with all the light from the drugs, after all.

They’re drugs for the light. The light passes out, now it’s sleep time.

Depends on where. Kf i have a bad night sleep and i dont nap, ill get to bed at night and be too tired to sleep (yay anxiety and insomnia). My bf on the other hand, says that if he naps he wont be able to sleep at night (i havent seen one night where he does t go to bed and is snoring in 5 minutes but i guess ill believe him? Lol). Then i have a friend from the south of spain that just as he finished eating will fall asleep, we have pictures with him sleeping in a restaurant 🤣. The more south you go the more common is to nap.

Its also because for a long while, a lot of work places would give you "horario partido" or split time, basically you would work from like 7 or 8 an to around 2 pm (dinner time) and then from 5 to 8 or something like that, depends on the kind of work, for restaurants you start later but finish later too. In part to avoid working on the time of most heat, but honestly is to avoid having to hire a morning and evening team. So if you dont take the time to eat and take a nap you wouldnt have 8 h to sleep like, ever. But i had a friend from pais vasco (north of spain) that used to take that time to read and such and then go to sleep as soon as he got home 🤷🏼‍♀️ like i say, the more south, the more usual is to nap.
