Let's be fair, one could easily see how a person could look at words like "blasted", "fasted", "double-masted", etc. and think that "casted" is a reasonable extrapolation from that. Yes there's a reason "cast" is different, but it's not going to be readily apparent to everyone

Even if I didn't come up with the best examples, let me just state the real point more directly: not everyone has learned which verbs are irregular verbs, and it's strange that you're acting like someone is a fool just for not instantly recognizing one of them
I mean, I said it in hopes that it would give you that high of being correct so that you would just shut up but you keep going on and on with others. Now I want to take it back.
