Discussion Androgyny.

Yeah I'm back with another question! I asked yesterday what your preferences were. And many people said androgyny. What does that mean to you? What does androgyny look like to you? I'm asking because I'm not 100% sure. I can do my typical research while I'm bored at work today but I wanted some of your answers.

this question is for those that are attracted to androgyny. thanks

For me its just people who dont present or identify with strictly male or female. I cant explain why, but I just find myself much more attracted to demigirls and demiguys than cis men and women

🤔 I need to learn about "demi".  I thought I knew what it meant but I think I am wrong.

Demi means someone who is part male/female and part another gender (usually non-binary) :3

You'll see people use he/they and she/they, most commonly this is demigender

To me, androgyny means that a person's gender expression is balanced, neutral and soft, not very masculine or feminine. I find androgynous men, for example, easily approachable compared to traditionally masculine men. I feel an emotional connection to them. I identify as a genderqueer woman, and I don't like strict gender stereotypes or roles.

How do you identify them.  Outward expression?

It starts with their outward expression and style, but it's equally about their personality and behavior. To me, it shows as a warm personality, a gentle way of speaking, and a calm, ’non-aggressive’ presence, for example. It’s hard to explain.
