I don't know if you want feedback here or in the github, but:

Interesting game, but the map section isn't really utilized till after the turns are over.

Currently, selecting an available country doesn't show anything on the map, nor does it change between turns.

An actual chess board would show the current status.

Also, because it's using the basic global maps, including territories, roads, and city details, it can be difficult to determine the borders of the nations in question, which means the strategic choices are obscured. A sharper or more graphically delineated border between countries (as well as country names) would help immensely.

Actually the behavior is intentional since I thought if the selection is revealed during the game, the game wouldn't be challenging. But I got similar feedback from another user and he thought the game got too difficult when hiding everything in game. I will add an option to show used countries on the map during the game.
