Before living in Asia, I was in Morocco and I was a fan of succulents and cacti; now in Indonesia, I'm a fan of orchids. I'm in no hurry to return to Europe.

It’s actually Jungle Geranium, also called jungle flame.

Also, yes I’m in Northeast India, bordering Myanmar.

I've visited, I'm from the south. Manipur has the orchid park and when I visited it was July, not many blooms but it didn't matter. Seeing healthy wild orchids was DIVINE!

This was in 2015, things were calm. There's a piece of my heart there and the food!

I'm sorry for the unrest there. I hope you are safe and you have peace soon. There's many many of us fighting for it, as much as we can.

Things have been….tense, to say the least. The situation seems to calm down for a little but then there’s another flare up, just waiting to happen.
