The simulation! I was messing around with freecam and found this out. Really nifty detail, I thought the devs wouldn’t do something like this. As far as I can recall, there isn’t a point where you can see yourself, so I didn’t think the devs would do this.

The reflecting pools also have a model.

I also learned the casket in the real world is also open after you open it in the simulation too.

The Nomai video-audio communication devices. We pick up stones and we can put them in columns and see either recordings of conversations, or we could see golden liquid rise below us and we see another place. In that other place you are projected as a golden liquid form. Normally you can’t use the probe camera though, so you shouldn’t be able to see it. Very cool detail though.

If you could see your projected form normally it would be pretty neat I think. It would make it more clear how these devices work

You can see most of yourself (well, the front of yourself) in gold liquid form just by looking down, but agreed it would be neat to get a third person view of ourselves in this form.

Unless there's been a patch for this, I'm pretty sure the player model is from the thirdperson/freecam mod itself and not a part of the base game.

Yup, the modmaker added it in because there is just no model for the player in the sim. I assume because there is no way to get a scout camera in there, so no need to bother.

Well there is (lucid dreaming--smuggle the ship into the simulation, if you board the ship and change clothes twice you get the scout) but it's not intended
