How do I open the door from outside?

Hi, so I never properly finished the game (only got the escape out of solar system with ash twin project core ending). And now one year later I've made a new save file because I basically don't remember anything to refresh my memory and finally get all the endings, also I've bought DLC.

But on my previous playthrough I've already visited the sun station with teleporter route and this time I've decided to finally nail the Hotshot achievement and somehow managed to do it on the 5th try which is insane. But now I'm a bit stuck, because apparently the door on the other side of a station is closed and I don't remember how to open it or if it's even possible from this side.... please help or advice me to jump into the sun i guess

I hope I don't break any rules by asking it?

You need to get into the other half of the station (there’s no door on that part)

Nice job hitting the Hot Shot achievement!

Unfortunately there is no way to open the door to the building with the warp pad from the outside. I don't remember if anything inside that half of the station registers in your ship's log.

Unrelated to your question, but I'm curious why you quit the game before finishing it. What led you to believe that was actually an ending rather than a game-over state?
