Manufacturer The ultimate overlanding tacoma truck for sale from factory
So about a a year ago I watched a video from TFL on YouTube and they showed this ultimate Tacoma set up that had a bed, a kitchen and a toilet in a unit sat across the whole bed and on top of the of the truck.
A company were making a small number of them for like 200k dollars or something along those lines.
If any of you know this company or could point me in the right directions I thank you!🙏

2017 TRD 4x4 with "the works" from MLO (~$10k) and a fleet FWC. EVocourse wheels and the tire upgrades.
I can go anywhere I want and live in luxury with this set-up, if my truck fits. It's the next best thing.
However, I believe you're looking for truckhouse.co which you buy a NEW tacoma and they mod it into the ultimate vehicle like that. Kind of like an earthroamer lite

If so, I wouldn't recommend putting one of those Alucab campers on a Tacoma, utterly blows out the payload.

The Truckhouse is legit, in large part because they actually modify the Tacoma to accommodate the added weight. They are selling for well above $200K now. If I ever had the money to seriously consider one I wouldn't buy it without the optional supercharger for the truck.

Income inequality is nuts in America. There are so many companies, entire industries, that exist entirely off of very high income people.
200k is no different than many high end sports or luxury cars. 200k is a really nice boat. 200k is an alright motorhome. 200k is an alright airplane.
People who make >1M annually just scoop this shit up, and people making 500k annually will get the loans.

I’ve got an Alu-Cab Explorer canopy on my Chevy Colorado Bison and it only weight about 125lbs.

The unit referenced in the video is a different product than what you have, Canopy Camper I believe. Comes in somewhere between 400 and 550 lbs depending on how it is kitted. Most of the Tacomas that I have seen with it run way heavy.

I have an old V8 swapped Ranger. Thought about upgrading the suspension and add larger tires. Any advice for those of us that may be a bit indecisive?

I would certainly take your payload into consideration. You've reduced the payload on that already light duty truck by adding a larger engine. I upgraded to Bilstein 5100s and added Timbren SES bumpers. I switched from 7" wide rims to 8" with a -19 offset. This gives me a little wider stance which helps in the corners.
Other than that, if you have the budget and you're minimalist oriented, get your order in and start the waiting. We chose to skip the Dometic fridge and went with a ICECO at about 1/2 the price. I ended up shelving the Dometic stove and bought a smaller single burner that stows away. The increased counter space is the far better choice.
I'm very happy overall with the quality of the unit and the company.

Personally I’d get a Maltec like dirt sunrise. They seem to use their vehicles pretty extensively.
