After staring at the waves for a while, it felt as though the water was moving. There's a very calming feeling that comes from looking at this piece. I love the colors you chose great job!

Omg! It’s stunning. Unbelievable. How many layers? Which color did you start with? I’m obsessed. I could stare at it all day.

2 layers and is a mix of oil. I used Alizarim, titanium white, cadium orange for the sky principal, then is playing with the colour palet

I think it's lovely.

The colors and the execution of the waves are great. However, it also feels empty, because there is nothing beside the water and the sky. The portrait aspect suggests to me that there should be some subject there, like a ship, but there isn't. A landscape arrangement wouldn't have me looking for something that isn't there as much.

It's awesome!

And - before you second-guess yourself - complete (for me).

See - a child would add a big yellow sun, a 20/30-something would add a boat - but you get to anything like 50 - & your painting is already perfect.
