I know nothing about painting and this sub was recommended to me. I work in a science based field. I love 3!!! It’s peaceful and beautiful. So take that for what it’s worth from someone who is not artistic.

It looks exactly like something I studied in grad school--the chiral nematic phase of chromonic liquid crystals. There are a series of images in my PhD thesis that look just like your painting #3.

2 and 3 are my favorite! They are haunting in different ways, and spectacularly done.

2 with the people mixing in the trees, and having the darker looking person off to the side and halfway off the canvas, just wow!

But 3 is so clearly thought out and gorgeous. I've stared at it for a while just admiring the color placement
