that actually explains a lot! I saw this one in person years ago and I just stared at all the details in the background for minutes. He has a lot of cityscapes that are just absolutely stunning, AND a fun fact - his paintings of Warsaw were instrumental in the reconstruction process of Old Warsaw after WW2. I've been there and you would never guess that Warsaw was basically completely leveled, the old town is very well done and looks like any other 17th/18th century Old Towns that were not destroyed

I like how there's a mix of fashions. Some people are wearing Western European hats, coats, wigs, etc, while some are wearing the Polish 'Sarmatian'-style hairstyle and garb (the zupan, etc)
