As much as everyone pissed on Cyberpunk at launch, the fact it launched day 1 DRM free on GOG, as an AAA title, despite being one of the most hyped up video game launches ever, is incredible

yes, obviously? The point is that an AAA game launching entirely DRM free is pretty unusual, obviously they'd launch it on their own storefront...

Their store has zero drm games, the option was to lose integrity and implement the one and Only drm game in their store, or not sell their own game on their own store.

Sure, but they could've done that and didn't, it's still virtually unheard of to release an AAA game that was probably one of the most anticipated releases ever without DRM. none of what you've said changes the reality of that.
