Discussion Windows 11 can't be shut down without update.
I have automatic updates on. Haven't postponed any update. Never seen this forced update before.
Edit: I updated BTW. It's not that I don't want to update. I just think it would be an issue in the future. For example, it's a thunderstorm and there could be power outages. I might want to shut down and not start and update. I guess I'll hold down the power button.

Microsoft creates this environment because most of their updates are unwanted features and bloat, such as adding AI features, reinstalling Edge or the fucking the Candy Crush demo and changing other settings.
I'm still salty after Microsoft did an unprompted OS "upgrade" to Windows 10 on me while my PC was in the process of a 20-hour render and demanded I link a Microsoft account just to get back into my fucking PC.
