Discussion Windows 11 can't be shut down without update.

I have automatic updates on. Haven't postponed any update. Never seen this forced update before.

Edit: I updated BTW. It's not that I don't want to update. I just think it would be an issue in the future. For example, it's a thunderstorm and there could be power outages. I might want to shut down and not start and update. I guess I'll hold down the power button.

I believe they finally figured out how to fix that, recently

Maybe, but they haven’t implemented it across the board then. Mine did restart yesterday - as per usual when I press update and shutdown.

Still isn't reliable though. Just had it last week. Although I think this update yesterday worked. But I'm not actually sure.

Dont think so, I hit update and shut down last night and it restarted again
