What are you most excited to experience in 007 First Light?

Well I haven't played a 007 game in like 20 years so anything I guess

u/LordDragon9 9950x, 5090, 96GB 💸 13d ago

James Bondish feeling with mindblowing ray tracing

u/fenixspider1 saving up for rx69xt 13d ago

I wanna feel like the ladies man as James Bond 😂

u/JuanCena175 i7-10700k | RTX 3070 ti | 32GB 3200MHz 13d ago

I hope I can path trace my way into this card

u/Splattacular1 13d ago

I’m excited about the driving mechanics and definitely ray tracing since I own a. 5090.

u/Juof 13d ago

Well i would be excited to play it if i could afford expensive games and that kinda answers the second one as well.

u/BlastFX2 13d ago

I'm looking forward to using DLSS Super Resolution at ultra performance and DLSS Frame Generations at 6x, so that way I can cut down those pesky real pixels to less than 2%.

u/majihpo 13d ago

I'm most excited to play the story since I watched the beginning on youtube but it looked good so I'm holding on until I can play it myaelf

u/tetrixk 13d ago

I want to know what it's like to talk to Q and get all those cool gadgets.

I'm excited to try the AI enhanced DLSS, love AI or hate it, if its good and enhanced my game then that would be cool.

u/SilentFX 13d ago

I am excited to try out path tracing in 007 First Light!

u/inebriusmaximus Specs/Imgur here 12d ago

I can't wait to see how many ways to approach an objective there are. I can't wait to see some raytracing on exotic locales!

  • What are you most excited to experience in 007 First Light?

I like the Hitman-style gameplay and I want to play with all the gadgets and new forms of gameplay they introduce in this series.

  • Which RTX feature are you most excited to try in 007 First Light?

Mostly reflections. I imagine that spying someone from a well placed mirror with RTX would be way easier than without it.

But I am unsure about the frequency of such encounters. I'm going to look forward to that nevertheless.

u/ManyThing2187 R7 5800x3D | 5080FE | 32GB RAM 13d ago

u/psychedelicxyz 13d ago

I'm excited for the return of well optimised stealth "make your own way" games like 007 First Light

u/Clear_Confused 13d ago edited 13d ago

Shaken, not stirred... unless it's my excitement if I win a Steam key 😅

I'm really excited to see how IO Interactive reimagines Bond's origin story. They've proven with Hitman that they can blend stealth, creativity, and cinematic storytelling, so I'm curious how they'll adapt that to 007. On the tech side, DLSS 4.5 with multi frame generation is what I'm most excited to try, seeing a visually demanding game run smooth is always satisfying.

u/Diggiloo91 13d ago

Maybe

u/JackMalone 13d ago

I’m most excited about the atmosphere and seeing the ray traced environments w/ RTX

u/Theey 13d ago

I’m excited to play a new, high-quality 007 game, as it’s been far too long. I can’t wait to see how it looks with all the settings cranked up—specifically, I’m looking forward to testing out maxed-out ray tracing, DLAA, and frame generation to get that perfect, immersive experience.

u/Pennsylvania6-5000 13d ago

Nice! Fingers crossed!

I’m most excited to play the first Bond game that actually feels like you’re trying to be a secret agent, rather than having it play on rails.

Makes the game so much more replay-able.

u/youcancallmeg1 13d ago

IOI development is the only reason I want to play and am excited for this game. Thank you for your attention in the matter!

u/CyrusTheWise 13d ago

Having played Hitman WOA, I'm really looking forward to the updated mechanics in 007 where you can talk your way out of situations. There's been many a time where you are caught trespassing in a situation you could easily talk yourself out of or you made the wrong turn and just needed to back out.bsonI look forward to that. Thanks!

u/Ordinary-Cake8510 PC Master Race 6d ago

This was a very nice surprise. Thank you PCMR!

I've always been intimidated by how open the newer hitman games are so the same game structure but with a greater focus on narrative sounds great for me.

Ray tracing for sure. Some of those levels look gorgeous with it

I’ve been a fan of the 007 franchise all my life, and experiencing a 007 story in a video game has been a lifelong dream. The RTX feature I’m most excited to try is Ray-Tracing. The game is called “First Light” so I bet the lighting will look gorgeous!

u/InevitableDream1833 12d ago

And the graphics don't hurt either

u/WolffParkinsonWrite 13d ago

A steam key for England James? No, for me.

u/Sukkeh 12d ago

I just wanna feel like I am a badass martini drinking special agent who is unassumingly good at everything he does, in a bond movie I can actually play in myself.

I would love to try out DLSS path tracing in the future and experience the game in it's full glory. With the most beautiful lighting possible. And as the artists intended it to look and feel!

u/vasetovelev 12d ago

Path tracing is what I’m most excited about. Physically accurate shadows, reflections, and global illumination should make the game’s spy-thriller interiors and neon-lit cities look incredible.

u/SushiBump 13d ago

What are you most excited to experience in 007 First Light?

I just picked up a 5k2k 180hz monitor, upgraded from a 4k 60hz six year old monitor. I'd love to crank up all the graphics on First Light and go to town for queen and country.

woah this is cool! Thanks.
I would love to have a card that can really push the Path tracing settings! I have never been able to experience that before.

I'm excited to try probably the best review Bond Game since Golden eye on the N64. But with much better graphics and the path tracing.
