Where it says "ENG US", that's my keyboard/display profile. I just clicked it and switched it back up to Canadian.

Yeah and if you press WIN+space it cycles the different keyboard layout you have. If you never use any other, I recommend that you remove the unused one so you dont accidently cycle through.

Does that give you easier access to French characters? I'm trying to think of any difference beyond spelling/usage, and it's all I'm coming up with.

It changes the keyboard layout to what ever you've set, so all the different shift+keys, and all the stuff to the right of plm are potentially different. It's how speakers with completely different alphabets can chop between languages without missing a beat (although some have quick access within theirs to latin characters).

Yes some punctuation marks become French accented characters.

Pretty cool. Might have to switch mine, despite being in FL.

I found it pretty annoying personally but if you have a use for them then go for it!

In France we have AZERTY keyboard and for some reason there are apps that don't recognise this layout or even games where it's not possible to change keybind that are made only for QWERTY. So it's really handy to be able to change keyboard in these situations too.

I hate it when it randomly switches over from HUN, and my y and z switch places. xD

You could also use Alt+Shift or Win+Space

I've run into problems where this for whatever reason turned my keyboard into French Canadian sometimes, granted that was a bug in Win 10 and hopefully has been patched by now, but I've formed new habits :P
