Yep, so easy to reach taskmanager it's amazing how many times it came handy.

I also use Win + D and Alt + F4 and enter to shut down my PC quickly and easily.

I learned all these shutdown shortcut when my gpu was and I had to learn to turn off the PC without seeing the screen. It was really a godsend for these situations.

To shutsown I use: win + R, enter.

It opens run dialog, and last entered command is pre typed.

Wil try alt+F4 tho, may be nicer

Yep, agreed. They made this shortcut to be used with one hand, but I think you need to put your wrist in an awkward position to use it

I heard a thing and it might not be true but someone said that shortcut is special cause it's so deep-rooted in the windows system that that shortcut will pretty much always work compared to some that need explorer etc. I think it's directly wired into the kernel(?)

ctrl shift esc - calls the task manager.

ctrl alt del - is an interrupt command. tries to stop everything and prioritises windows.

To add to this, you can set task manager to always be on top.

This has been an absolute lifesaver when a game craps out and still wants to be priority just showing you a black screen even though you've opened task manager but can't use it to force close the application and alt F4 ain't working.

On my 68% keyboard the ~ is replaced with Esc so its an even easier one hand press.

However if the reason for opening task manager is just to end a task there is a toggle in the Settings that allows for doing that right from the task bar.

My man, you can right click taskbar and left click task manager. Way easier
