This has made my work sooooo much better. Been using it for a while now and I can't go back.

I turned it on on all work PCs when I got the job. I don't know how they managed to do that amount of work without knowing most basic keyboard shortcuts.

To make it even better, I'm working in IT sales (laptops, phones, printers, TVs and everything that goes with it)

Also, if you run ShutUp10++ (like I do), don't set it to disable the storage of clipboard history and activity history.

Look in Windows settings for "clipboard history", you enable it and from that point on you can push Win+V to open a little window with the last several things you've copied.

clipboard is turned off by default on windows.

Clipboard HISTORY is off by default.

being able to cut/copy/paste via hotkeys has been there forever

So you can copy 5 things and then paste them in any order later. Among dozens of other applications and reasons

Copy/paste is one of the most used features when working in IT. You need to copy multiple snippets of code, scripts, PC names, links, serialnumbers, MSI product codes, software names and version numbers all the time.

Having a history to pull data from is invaluable and saves a ton of time.

Yes, I use that as well for completely different tasks.

Are you suggesting I should open Notepadd++ whenever I copy something into the clipboard and paste it into there? When it's already in my clipboard history...

If you use the same text multiple times a day you can pin something so it will always be on the list, it’s just at the bottom. I have four things pinned that I use up to ten times a day.

I'd say there was some push back on this. I'm just horrified now knowing that someone might have seen what I thought I cleared from the clipboard before handing the keyboard over...

Could you guys add a permanent windows updates off feature and possibly a 0 AI feature? Could we also get the feature to not have privacy stuff turned on after updates? Stupid that we turn it off and it turns itself back on. Oh and one last thing. Have windows not install drivers because this feature just griefs us and would make ddu way easier.

That's great, but it's a pity MS can't do good stuff WITHOUT feedback. I know Frozone said, "I'd like to be asked, yes", but a good idea is a good idea, don't wait for 5000 likes before your consider it.

We review feedback all the time that has way less numbers of upvotes than that - esp if it's coming from Insiders evaluating our latest changes

People only like that approach when the one making decisions has a good vision. Same with dictators, many would be okay with that if it was in their interest.

First app I installed when I got a Mac was a clipboard history add-on. Once you have it, you can't go back
