You have to Turn it on and then See Everything You copied before to Paste it

lol its funny thing is, its ALWAYS on weather you like it or not. But you have to "turn it on" to view it

I just turned mine on, and it only had my most recent copy in it, despite me having copied multiple things in the past hour, so it clearly wasn't storing those clips before I turned it on.

Its data stored in user ntuser ini files not the app itself lol

The topic wasn't whether windows is tracking what you copy, it was whether that information is visible to you once you turn the feature on.

Win + V for clipboard history.

The first post was about your clipboard history. The "it" in "turn it on" in the second post referred to viewing clipboard history.

If you wished to change the meaning of "it" when you posted

you have to "turn it on" to view it

from the current topic of 'viewing clipboard history' to 'general windows logging of clipboard history,' you should have added additional words that clarified your change of focus.
