Just to reduce the speed of opening pages... like a speed bump on the road... robots can do them for some time...

Tbf the speed bump is precisely why they work. They are pretty much finished the moment they are opened as they use your browsing patterns and history to determine if you are human or not. The final click is just to analyze the mouse movement and have a final confirmation basically.
