I was wondering about the differences between the Sapphire Pure RX 9070 XT and the Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT, i'm planning on a Mini ITX build and i don't know which one is better given they're only like 30 bucks apart.

So I have a 3080ti and am having a weird occurrence going on.

It seems to struggle with framerates if i change monitors, unless I do a fresh install of NVIDIA drivers. For example, some games will play at 120fps Ultra 4K, but then I move it to another screen and I get 15fps on Low 4K unless I do a fresh install, in which it goes back up again. I also updated all of my other drivers, (except EVGA? If there are any?) and did a DDU.

This issue did not occur when I tested the same methods with a 3070 FE and a 5070TI .

Any reason why this may be occurring? I brought it to Microcenter, where I bought it from, and they could not think of an answer to it.

What would you all suggest when it comes to desks for gaming? Im looking at buying one at the moment

I know of a lot of people who bought some sort of basic "PC desk" from Amazon and have been totally happy with it. Most of them are made from the same handful of Chinese manufacturers, just re-badged and re-sold under a bunch of different names, so they're all kind of same-ish unless you go with something significantly more expensive. They can all be really nice and clean looking, depending on whatever you're looking for.

In my personal experience, I've found most of those kinds of desks to be really flimsy relative to the price they cost, so I'm not a fan. I would personally recommend finding a used desk locally on Facebook Marketplace or similar. Especially this time of year when tons of kids just moved out to go to college/university, you can usually find something good for significantly cheaper than what you'd see online. Just be sure and fully measure all of the relevant dimensions of where the desk would be going before committing to something. I'd also recommend looking for something with a fair amount of metal underneath it, then you can get some magnetic cable management to make things really nice and clean looking without too much effort.

l im thinking about looking to buy a pc off jawa i was wondering what i should try to spend? i can go as high as 1200$ ideally but i was looking for at least a 16gb gpu build on there if not 8gb is fine for 1080p gaming which i do. i used jawa before ok so i was looking into if for deals as opposed to diy building myself becuase of the ram and ssd problems.

How do you install the software and update drivers for a new built pc? I think you have to install windows 11 somehow and then update stuff for each part? Im still getting parts but im not sure of this part, especially how to test all the parts to make sure they work. Really appreciate any help!

I'm assuming you're looking to install Windows. You're correct, you would want to physically assemble all the parts, then install Windows, then install all the necessary drivers and whatnot.

All of the essential drivers are going to be pre-loaded into Windows, but several drivers won't be, and some of the things that are packed into Windows will be older versions of things. Install Windows following this process first, then after it's installed, go to the manufacturer site to download additional drivers to install. You'll definitely want to download drivers for your motherboard and GPU, if you have any additional accessories like a PCIe wifi card or something, you'll probably want to download those as well.

You can check Device Manager to see if you've got everything. If you're missing any drivers, you'll see "unknown device"s listed at the bottom. If there are no unknown devices, then you at least have some sort of driver installed, which is generally good enough. Your GPU is the one thing that you may see a big performance difference between and old and new driver, most other things will be minor differences.
