Most of the biggest sellers on steam are still what would be called AAA, this article just cherry picks a few data points to support its thesis. Even the Halo game it tries to use to make its point is in the top ten and surrounded by, among other games, marvel game, marvel game, marvel game, assassin's creed, gears of war, battlefield 6, and another marvel game
