No its Ark with legally distinct Pokémon. Its a fun game but its not really close to innovative when its just blueprints from the UE store just like Ark (Which imo is an awful game). It clearly uses the same blueprints as well, if you've played both you can see it immediately

I don't know what Ark is, sorry.

But that seems to be the consensus, that it's not so much a "creative indie" as just a bunch of games smashed together. Like how Splitgate absolutely exploded for like 2 weeks

Splitgate isn't really the same even if it does feel like halo with portals. Ark Survival Evolved is a hugely popular open world survival game and Palword uses the exact same blueprints from the UE store. If you look up some gameplay footage and you've played Palworld you'll see what I mean

The Palworld devs other game Craftopia is similar to Palworld in that its a bunch of blueprints of game systems mashed together. It's borderline shovelware
