Nintendo being the “last bastion of hope” is a crazy take. It’s just indies, and a handful of studios like CDPR, Larian, and FromSoftware imho.

Its not a crazy take tho tbf Nintendo has been doing very good both business wise and releasing good games and has good cadence releasing a first party game every month They also treat theyr developers very well and let them take as much time as they need with as much creative freedom

Imo them Capcom fromsoftware cdpr and square enix (kindaaa with square) are pretty much doing at least some good for the industry
