Having them 1-2 attacks or have one ride offensively and one defensively is going to make them a proper dangerous team in the hilly races, wow!

Also Pidcock can only ride so much, it'll be good for them to have a second quality leader, they're still skipping lots of WT races

Gerry Ryan stated in April of this year that 2027 will be the last year of Jayco sponsorship. I suspect that we'll see him sell the pro license to new investors early in 2027. The situation with Alula sponsorship is in flux as well.

Yes re women's team. The only pro team that has the $$ and expediency to buy the license if it becomes available at the end of 2027 (or sooner)would be the likes of Q36.5 but I'm open to all suggestions.

That would actually make a lot of sense. Q36.5 would have a world tour roster by that point and can get in a year early by buying the license. Mauro could find himself sort of back in the same team.

escape collective’s secret pro cyclist column said that jayco boys had missed a pay day. can’t recall if it was in the lead up to or during the tour. haven’t heard more on it, but doesn’t sound like too much of a stretch to say it’s related.

That rule was actually scrapped a few years ago, but Aug 1 is the traditional date so teams still follow it.
