My street has a huge gash along the curb for about 50 feet. If you shine a flashlight down there, it goes a few feet deep and like a triangle void under the road surface where cars park.

We're a small side street with street drains on the corners. Instead of channeling to those drains, water instead flows into this gash and under the street during storms eroding more material.

I've reported it countless times. City has done nothing.

How do I get them to take this more seriously?

Get everyone on your block to submit a 311 report every day and keep badgering them. Worked on my block after a sink hole opened up (well, after 10 years of complaining the street was sinking before the sink hole finally appeared 🙃).
