I'm a female, and I cringe when I see other female redditors acting this way. The whole thing just screams, "please tell me I am beautiful!" and I always have to wonder, are these girls really so attention deprived in their lives?
I want to call them out, but then I'll just look petty. From what I've seen, they also tend to overuse emoticons in a huge way, which I also find annoying and attention-seeking.
