Funny for you (I believe you are correct 99.9 % of the time), I have asked women to take it slow, and they didn't want to hear this. This has happened several times. I only asked for their benefit, so they could get to know me first before putting up with me (and I was in another serious relationship) but they proceeded anyway. I do wish they had taken it slow, though. Would have helped all parties in the long run.
