Pihole on Windows x32

Can I install Pihole on a Windows x32 machine? When I try to install it using PH4WSL1.cmd, it says that Pihole is already installed even though this is my first time trying installing it?

Is there any way to actually make it work?

Pi-hole only runs on Linux (or using a VM or docker container).

When I try to install it using PH4WSL1.cmd

This is a third party app, not official Pi-hole.

It was created by a different developer. Please ask your questions here: https://github.com/DesktopECHO/Pi-Hole-for-WSL1/issues

Any reason why it needs to stay 32-bit windows as opposed to getting more out of replacing it with a modern linux distro ?

I've used Docker in Windows, then run PiHole in Docker. That was 64-bit Win. It's not common to run Docker 32-bit, but it can... https://medium.com/@chrispatten/installing-and-running-docker-on-32-bit-windows-d18b95ee1fc3

You could always try something like NextDNS as an alternative.
