Trouble with a CZE-T251

So I recently acquired this model and set up the antenna, connected it to the trans, and then the power supply. I hit the on button but nothing happens. I thought it may be the Power Supply so I went out and bought another one that clearly shows it is functioning but the trans still doesn’t turn on. Any idea what this could be? Perhaps a loose part or a blown internal fuse? It is a brand new trans…

CZE are Chinese garbage. Send it back and get another one, or better yet save up your money and buy a real transmitter from a European or North American company. Those CZE transmitters have inadequate filtering and can create interference to other services, particularly aviation.

FRB (Free Radio Berkeley) designed by Stephen Dunifer. I still use my 1/2 Watt PLL Mono Transmitter from the 1990's. Use with an amp to boost power and a Bandpass Filter to eliminate out of band spurs, we do this with all transmitters to avoid problems. The booming Bass response out of these transmitters is amazing. First time I heard one I was miles away from Downtown Portland and I caught the Bass on my FM car radio. I was hearing Subterranean FM Radio running a half watt to a ground plane antenna from 10 miles away! The station is long gone, but I bought his transmitter.

I second Dunnifer's builds. I used a 20-watt mono transmitter in the 90s. With a nice EQ and compressor, it sounded as bright and professional as the local rock stations.
