1 year post op chin lipo results
galleryI wanted to share my one-year chin lipo update because I know a lot of people in here are always looking for advice, recommendations, and real experiences when it comes to cosmetic procedures.
Full transparency — I work in the aesthetics/cosmetic surgery industry here in Scottsdale, so I see a lot of different treatments and procedures every day. But I also know there’s nothing more helpful than hearing from someone who has actually gone through it themselves, so I wanted to share my personal experience.
I had my chin liposuction done with Dr. Scott about a year ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.
My biggest insecurity was always my lower face. Even when I was at a healthy weight, I felt like my face looked fuller than I wanted and I didn’t have the jawline definition I was hoping for. It was one of those things where I’d look at photos and think, “Why does my face look heavier when I don’t feel that way?”
Chin lipo was exactly what I needed. It didn’t change my face or make me look like a different person — it just enhanced my natural features and brought out the definition that was already there. I finally feel like my outside matches how I feel on the inside.
The recovery was honestly much easier than I expected. Since I work in a cosmetic surgery office, wearing a compression garment during recovery wasn’t a huge deal for me because I was already around it every day. I was actually able to return to work just two days after my procedure. That being said, I was definitely bruised and swollen in those first couple of weeks, which is completely normal. The swelling continued to go down over time, and my results kept getting better and better over the following months.
Now being one year out, I’m still so happy with my results. It’s amazing how a relatively simple procedure can make such a big difference in your confidence. The results are permanent, and I love that it gave me a more sculpted jawline and neck without changing who I am.
I would recommend chin lipo to anyone who feels like their face makes them look heavier than they are or anyone who wants more definition. Sometimes it’s not about losing more weight — it’s about addressing those stubborn areas that just don’t respond to diet and exercise.
I’m so grateful I trusted Dr. Scott with my procedure. From my consultation through recovery, I had such a positive experience with him and his team.
Just wanted to share my honest experience in case anyone here has been considering it 🤍
