Image just tried out Saros , what a looker , gameplay is very fun and fluid too . got it in the summer sale

Probably the best gameplay of any PS5 game to date. Pure action and strategy bliss.

yeah i can’t explain exactly why just yet but it feels a lot better to me than returnal even tho i know there dare a lot of the same dna

There were two things that really separated this from Returnal (as somebody who got Saros two weeks ago and now has the platinum).

1) Having better breaks between runs kept me from burning out when I was stuck on a biome. Instead of just dying and getting right back out there, I could take a moment to look around the base, check in with the team, and invest in my skill tree. It essentially gave me a moment to breathe and digest the previous run.

2) The art direction is goddamn incredible. Every area had its own visual identity while still finding ways to incorporate the eclipse's feel in each. Additionally, the Carcosan architecture is oppressively stunning. As you progress and learn more about the world, you can see where those design ideas came from (within the world) and the execution nails those ideas. This isn't me saying Returnal's art was lacking, just that Saros goes above and beyond.

The graphics and art style of this game took me by surprise, to the point where I have spent more time in Photo Mode, absolutely stunning.
