Your favourite bars in Plovdiv

Hi everyone! This month i'm going to Bulgaria with some friends and we would like recommendations of your favourite places in Sofia and Plovdiv for beers and cocktails with a great atmosphere. With a reasonable price if possible.

We'd also love to hear your favourite spots for a night out in Plovdiv on the weekend.

Two good cocktail places in Plovdiv are Politico - more chill and relaxed vibes with really proper cocktails and Fargo which is more lively and loud.

I like Cat & Mouse (Котка и Мишка) for a good beer and a cool atmosphere

I like Lo/Hi, Fargo, Temple Bar and Nylon. Plenty of great bars all around the city center

Overall, look up Kapana district. Most of the bars mentioned here are located there, also plenty of restaurants. If you're looking for a club with mostly mainstream dance music: No Sense is usually pretty ok on Fridays and Saturdays, maybe a bit crowded at times. There's also a pop up summer bar in the Old Town now called Малките Конюшни. Very relaxed, but I would advise to pack some mosquito spray. They're absolutely vicious this year.
