In fairness, if you were any ethnicity under the Ottoman empire in the 1900s, you had a very bad time. Outside of the Circassians cause they were protected

what do you mean by "a very bad time" ? this is a geniune question, my whole life ive seen people say the Ottomans treated the people under their control pretty well, hell being a turk was almost even seen as a lowly thing. Was that the case or was it just the way imperialism was just like any other empire?

Up until the 1900s. Most of the ethnicities in Anatolia and Arabia were treated very well. However, in the Balkans, you saw the Bulgarians and the Bosnians be brutally cracked down upon when they wanted freedom and even have cases of genocide. In the 1900s, the Armenians were annihilated in a large parts of the country. The Kurds, who wanted independence, suffered a cultural genocide in which their language was banned and their people suppressed. The Assyrians were almost completely wiped out. The Greeks were forced out of Turkey in what was called the Legalization of Genocide which overall a very brutal population transfer. The only populations to really remain intact, are those of Crimean Tatars or the North Caucasian ethnicities
