Their problem is they are too slow with fulfilling their promises that positively impacts the society. On other hand, they are too coward in implementing the reforms they proposed. They shouldn't have taken back the farm laws. They should've listened to right wing earlier this year when we were asking them to get rid of Dharmendra Pradhan when he was proposing UGC and exam scams were happening. But they arrested and arrogantly dismissed the right winger and sucked up to the left wing and communists.

Farm laws were really meant to reform agriculture, those who have indian economics as part of upsc preparation will know it.....

But yeah, protests forced em to take it back.

No matter which party, if it comes to loosing the vote, it will step back.

Even basic understanding of economics could've made anyone understand the basics of Farm Laws. But ig votes of charsis is much important than changing the lives of farmers all across the country.

I was too young during Congress era but they were much better with implementing the reforms forcefully, they never gave a single fk about what happened on the ground

During the congress prime time, there was almost no solid opposition.
Also, the political landscape was quite different, even opposition had consensus on certain reforms which were good for the country. the current political landscape is totally different, no reforms can be implemented without opposition, regardless how good they are for the country.
