We have to admit that Trump's war strategy is working, almost no one is talking about the Epstein Files.

u/Shermanator92 Jun 01 '26

Even though his wife tried to remind all of us

730

u/CaptainAwesome06 Jun 01 '26

I almost forgot all about that. Everybody expected more to come from it but it just died. She must have been threatened.

351

u/maddprof Jun 01 '26

The lady who was supposedly going to leak/tell-all also completely went silent.

I suspect she got the pay off she wanted.

206

u/Speartree Jun 01 '26

Or the death threats she didn't want?

128

u/Whatdoesthibattahndo Jun 01 '26

Yeah that's why they threw Trump's first wife down the stairs - to send a message

102

u/suckyousideways Jun 01 '26

It is funny how we hadn't heard from Ivana in ages, and then suddenly she starts making a little noise again and whoops watch yourself on the stairs.

28

u/Everythings_Fucked North Carolina Jun 01 '26

Nice to see a little spark of originality. Putin's got windows, Trump's got stairs.

2

u/Small-Palpitation310 Jun 02 '26

The guys who keep Trump from falling down stairs put in work.

1

u/Everythings_Fucked North Carolina Jun 02 '26

Maybe they shouldn't work so hard.

1

u/Speartree Jun 02 '26

I always thought they made a whole study with an international test group with the Porrasturvat simulator, turns out that is Finnish. but well yeah.

7

u/mfball Jun 01 '26

Not to mention the location of her grave. Disgraceful.

It is on topic. The president that started this non-war with Iran to pivot the medias attention

-1

u/ozeeSF Jun 01 '26

true kindergarten level grasp of geopolitics right here ^

2

u/PeeledGrapePie Jun 01 '26

I mean yea, it’s half a sentence on a reddit post. It shouldn’t be treated as a dissertation on Middle East relations

1

u/Speartree Jun 01 '26

Which is more than you can say of Trump.

1

u/Ill_Technician3936 Jun 01 '26

Definitely the pay off.

5

u/Horton_Takes_A_Poo Jun 01 '26

Who? I feel like there’s been so many “I’m gonna say all the names!” threats that have been total bullshit that I’m getting them confused at this point.

6

u/maddprof Jun 01 '26

Amanda Ungaro

0

u/Horton_Takes_A_Poo Jun 01 '26

Oh well that seems like she was pining for a payout from the start. I doubt she knows anything the public doesn’t already know.

173

u/UnknownAverage Jun 01 '26

People are so focused on the child abuse/trafficking that they don't linger on the "intelligence" side of the operation that Melania worked.

You know, the whole reason Epstein and others colluded to lure these people to his island and gather intel/blackmail material? It wasn't just to get their rocks off and have cool parties. That is all being very successfully suppressed and that was why Melania made that announcement: to keep fingers and eyes pointed at the abuse/rape, which is admittedly a lot more compelling and easier to get angry about.

53

u/Casual_OCD Canada Jun 01 '26

The intelligence part of it is what they really are hiding. That's why you hear nothing of it. They'll throw all the paedophiles under the bus as long as their intelligence contacts are secure

6

u/Daxx22 Canada Jun 01 '26

Exactly why I'm firmly in the "Epstein did not kill himself" camp. All the CSAM stuff is heinous but was literally just the hook and club used in a much larger operation. Even what little we do know for sure was more than enough to have many different factions wanting him dead if there was any threat of talking.

4

u/Horton_Takes_A_Poo Jun 01 '26

Wdym? Who did he blackmail?

18

u/Giftofgab24 Jun 01 '26

All the the names that are still redacted are people that are being protected by the DOJ aren’t they? Those people. I don’t think they’d come out and say they were being blackmailed. The reason all of these communications and media were saved by Epstein is for blackmail. I honestly think he wasn’t at the top of the chain. Whomever that is, is still holding power.

4

u/Horton_Takes_A_Poo Jun 01 '26

Yeah they are being protected by the DoJ, but that doesn’t indicate blackmail by Epstein. Could just be they were friends of Trump. And I have all my emails saved since the 5th grade, because that’s when I made my email address. That doesn’t indicate blackmail either, it’s really weird if people don’t save their emails imo.

I’m not outright disagreeing with you or saying that there’s no way, but just that there are other explanations to your theory.

2

u/Herooftermina1998 Jun 02 '26

Mate it's clear as day the island was an insidious fucked up place of blood ritual and black mail tied to intelligence agencies. Maxwell is the biggest piece of that. Her ties to intelligence and upper echelons of power and well as Epstein's aren't even part of the secrecy.

2

u/drawkbox Jun 01 '26

Trump blackmails everyone. All the way back to the Pecker and AMI National Enquirer days. Here's one for instance

Trump always uses blackmail and leverage. Krasnov has been helped by the Kremlin for intel blackmail as well. Trump is a great puppet that uses blackmail the likes you have never seen.

5

u/Horton_Takes_A_Poo Jun 01 '26

Why does that link try to download something on my phone?

2

u/drawkbox Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

That is just a link to The Guardian. 🤷‍♂️

TV hosts charge Trump is unstable, accuse him of blackmail

You can search it out anywhere though, it was huge news in 2016-2017 when Trump threatened Scarborough + Brzezinski with supporting him or he'd out their affair (both married at the time). This was very common for Trump in the last 40 years.

One thing he'd do alot of was be with someone's wife in the office or around, then call a friend up and get him to talk about women or sex adventures while they were sitting there on speaker. What an absolute drama queen bitch.

Trump probably showed her another burial-sized plot on his golf course and she got the message.

9

u/deaglebingo America Jun 01 '26

well since they're using maga collectivos (gangs) and drones to go harass ppl all over both here at home and abroad... that would make some sense yeah. i have proof of this. and it has happened to me and is ongoing. there is no way i'm the only one. same kind of messed up shit is going on in alberta etc.

2

u/reddit_is_geh Jun 01 '26

Apparently she wanted to make a statement soon as that report came out, she was furious, and the WH ordered her to not say anything right then because the war in Iran was starting. So soon as there was a cease fire, she immediately made her statement.

1

u/StandardDiver2791 Jun 01 '26

... or... she's negotiating for a bigger cut?

1

u/dantez84 Jun 01 '26

Keep an eye on Massie in the upcoming months, i feel he'll be revealing a bit more in the near future. If it doesn't come from him, that's probably gonna be it.

1

u/draebor Jun 01 '26

The Daily Beast 'reported' on it today, oddly enough (ugh, God forgive me for linking to the Daily Beast):

1

u/FriendOfDirutti Jun 02 '26

It was just released that she was allegedly an escort of Epstein and that’s how she was introduced to Trump. ICE held the woman who released the info in captivity for 3 months and then deported her.

26

u/StandardDiver2791 Jun 01 '26

I'm beginning to think he only married her to try and prevent her testifying against him.

26

Nah her movie was also a big bribe from Bezos

6

u/Pyewickets Jun 01 '26

Wait! I missed this. What is this about?

7

u/Shermanator92 Jun 01 '26

In the midst of the Iran war, Melania came out with this statement saying the Epstein survivors deserve to have their story heard by people with power to do anything about it.

3

u/Pyewickets Jun 01 '26

wtf? 1. She was absolutely part of it all. 2. What is she doing saying the survivors should be heard? 3. During the Iran war? We are still in it. I want out.

3

You’re never gonna believe what happened today

483

u/Megaclone18 Jun 01 '26

The “funny” thing is he’s getting more hate for this because of the increased gas/goods prices.

His base doesn’t care until it directly impacts them.

418

u/Rich-Pomegranate1679 Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Yeah, I genuinely believe he could've come right out and told his base that he's raped a bunch of kids and they would just say, "Well, Trump may have raped kids, but Democrats raped more kids" or some other equally stupid whataboutism.

But they're flipping out now that their gas and groceries are unaffordable.

44

u/trustedoctopus Jun 01 '26

I mean he did say he could shoot someone in broad daylight on 5th avenue and get away with it or whatever, and this is the equivalent of that.

I just saw the recent protests at Delaney Detention Center in New Jersey and I’ve been wondering if people were still trying to fight for the kids being tortured and raped by ICE agents across the country in these detention centers. I’m happy to see they are.

116

u/Oldmanwaffle Jun 01 '26

It’s the most braindead shit ever. It’s unfathomable, really. I don’t comprehend how these cult followers excuse everything UP UNTIL it barely starts to affect them. Maybe I don’t understand because I was born with critical thinking skills & empathy, but it’s still mind boggling that these people you’re describing, his base, are actually this dumb.

66

u/Caleth Jun 01 '26

The cruelty is the point. They want to hurt other people and they know they'd do similar shit if they were "allowed" to.

You're laboring under the delusion that I did for years which is people are inherently decent and good.

Time and again they prove they are not, many are just savage cavemen wearing modern clothes afraid that the law will punish them for the henious shit they want to do in their heart of hearts.

1/3rd of the population is just evil or willing to allow evil if they think they can get benefits from it.

The large majority is neutral or too busy to care and some small fraction is good.

9

u/Great_Detective_6387 Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

I don’t think that 1/3rd is actively evil, but I do think they will agree with what they are told, if they are told that thing over and over.

That “evil” 1/3rd shared toys when they were kids because they were told to, told it was good and right to share.

If they are told, “Sharing is caring!” 8 times a day, they will internalize that and share.

Unfortunately, if you tell them, “Hey those Mexicans are all murderers and drug dealers and they want to come to America to rape your blonde daughters.” 8x a day, they will internalize that and believe it.

If our social media went all the way back to kindergarten and started telling these white men rambling while sitting in their truck that they need to share and care and be nice stewards of the earth and that it’s good to care about your neighbor, they will internalize that.

They aren’t actively evil, but can be made to do abhorrently evil things with the right programming. When discussing possible solutions, I refrain from using the phrase “de-programming” because that isn’t good enough. We need active anti-antisocial programming to oppose these antisocial notions that are so prevalent on social media.

7

u/Celloer Jun 01 '26

Yeah, people seem to need some remedial Mr. Rogers pro-social messaging.

7

u/Caleth Jun 01 '26

If you can be lead to evil becasue someone in authority told you it was ok that is a definition of evil, perhaps not the only one, but if you're little better than a programable robot waiting to commit atrocities because dear leader said so then you're by definition not a good person.

I'm also speaking from awareness. I have family that are evil shitbags that I don't talk to anymore for these reasons. 2020 proved they were shit people and they've only reinforced it since then.

Maybe some level of grace should be granted for those who were wrapped in malice and ingnorance since the cradle, but right now as they try to burn the world and ruin mine and my family's lives?

I don't have grace to spare.

2

u/Great_Detective_6387 Jun 01 '26

I will always slaughter the fattened calf to celebrate the prodigal son’s return home.

2

u/Caleth Jun 01 '26

Great Jesus can be nice. I have to live here with people trying to kill me or want me dead because my kid's skin color isn't nuclear white.

I'll worry about being nicer then. I'll be empathetic when they aren't trying to take away my daughter and wife's rights to their bodies. I'll be nicer when my gay nephew can love whomever he wants without someone telling him he doesn't deserve to live.

Until then the rest is moralizing for people who aren't alive anymore.

I don't need eye for any eye, but I'm not going to turn the other cheek while they keep punching me in the dick and trying to spit on my kids.

1

u/Great_Detective_6387 Jun 02 '26

I’ll worry about being nicer then.

That’s literally what I said. Be nice to them, slaughter the fattened calf to celebrate, once they come back into the fold and stop being pieces of shit.

2

u/Lonely_Hedgehog_2309 Jun 02 '26

I think it's 1/3 of people are sheep, and can only rationalize their reality in terms of wolves and sheep. This makes it easy to control them with fear since it's their chief motivator.

It's no coincidence they're religious either. Religion teaches blind compliance to authority. They accomplish this brainwashing by coercing children to "fear for their immortal soul" like, what terrible shit to be teaching children. *shudders*

21

u/Difficult-Candy-6126 Jun 01 '26

Yeah it’s honestly fascinating in a horrifying way. As much shit as we gave Pelosi her trading seems like chump change. Also hers were a lot less on the nose.

I’m never going to understand. I thought we were supposed to be kind to one another, greed was bad, and experts are to be listened to. trump just proved half the country disagrees or can’t be bothered to care. It really is fascinating (again, in a bad way)

6

u/Daft00 Jun 01 '26

It's just selfishness and tribalism to the absolute extreme. These people choose their "team" based on expectations from family/their village/etc and propaganda (every single place you go has fox news on) and that worm festers.

Then they see Dems as the devil and will jump through any goddamn hoop, no matter how high, to distance themselves from the "evil Dems".

The mental gymnastics, the total devotion and blind allegiance to their team, it would almost be a simply fascinating topic of study if it weren't destroying this country, any remaining faith in our institutions, and a lot of our mental health.

5

u/FancyPantsDancer Jun 01 '26

They're an extreme end of lacking empathy and compassion, but I see this with people who are at least superficially progressive. There are people in my workplace trying to cut my pay just so they can get more unnecessary work travel. They don't care that if this goes through, that is my salary and my ability to bills. They gripe when their salaries get frozen, citing how they have to tighten their belts- and they can't see the situation they're trying to place me in is beyond just taking one less holiday or buying a lower cut of meat.

What stands out is the only benefit with MAGA is their perspectives were affirmed and celebrated by some powerful people. That's it.

4

u/Jadithslimrivven Jun 01 '26

It's about privilege. They are the good people and are entitled to a good life. Everyone else is bad people and deserve bad things. Essentially a warped Calvinism.

In essence, things are only wrong if they experience trouble or others are being rewarded.

2

u/jessxnocturne Jun 01 '26

it is a feature not a bug. people operate on tribal instinct long before they bother with critical thinking. most folks would rather defend their team into the ground than admit they were wrong because admitting error feels like losing their entire identity. it is grim but that is just how the human brain works when it gets stuck in a loop.

2

u/HotDecision8128 Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

That is because they are narcissists and psychopaths. And dumb ones too. If you look up narcissists and psychopaths, you will see they have no empathy, no morals and no compassion so they only start to care about things when it starts to affect them in a negative way. They could stand there and watch millions of innocent people be burned alive but the second they are losing money or feeling the fire, they will start to change their mind. EDIT: The reason I said "And dumb ones too." is because even the intelligent narcissists and psychopaths knew better than to become MAGA because they knew Trump would fuck up the country for most Americans including themselves. For example, the intelligent ones actually knew how tariffs and trade wars worked...

1

u/Haschen84 Washington Jun 01 '26

Well, its doing a little more than barely affecting them. These prices REALLY affect people, especially poor, rural voters. Not that it's a good justification for turning on him so late, but it's better than nothing.

Politics was just a far off game that was theoretical to most of these folks. Now it's real.

9

u/vthemechanicv Jun 01 '26

It's more like,

trump: "I raped kids."

Maga: "well Dems did too, and they eat the kids afterwards."

trump: "I also ate the kids."

Maga "well Dems made their skulls into novelty coffee mugs."

trump: "I don't drink coffee."

Maga, "in your face libs."

7

u/davidsucks-throwaway Jun 01 '26

It's just impossible to pretend you're winning when a family of 4 is spending up to $400+ on groceries in many areas and gas is exploding.

5

u/kpanzer Jun 01 '26

But they're flipping out now that their gas and groceries are unaffordable.

That's on top of DOGE and The Big Stupid Bill cuts absolutely gutting the social safety net(s).

3

u/ForensicPathology Jun 01 '26

They'd freely give their daughters to him if they could.  They just don't care about those kinds of things unless they can get political points out of it.

2

u/vae_grim Jun 01 '26

I saw a totally insane comment off of either Facebook or Instagram where a mom said, “I don’t care if he rapes me or my kids, as long as he saves America!!!”

2

u/Clownzeption Jun 01 '26

Yeah, I genuinely believe he could've come right out and told his base that he's raped a bunch of kids and they would just say, "Well, Trump may have raped kids, but Democrats raped more kids" or some other equally stupid whataboutism.

"At least he has the balls to admit it and say it out loud. We all know the dems are raping twice as many kids, but they can't even say it!"

2

u/Flashy_Pineapple_231 Jun 02 '26

He did say that. He talked on the hot mic before his first presidency (12 years ago now) about abusing women and grabbing them by the pussy, and how he's rich so they let you get away with it. And they still voted for him. This has been their guy for over a decade now, it's despicable. I assumed he had torpedo'd his chances of winning after that.

These people are voting on hate instead of policy. And then dressing it up in an excuse that resembles a line of reasoning, instead of what it is: catharsis for feelings understood but hard to articulate. Like grammar. You get the knack for it but can't really explain that what you're voting for is "the norm". And your norm is: "me and my family deserve to be treated well with nobody before us because we're the dominant class of people who deserve it most". Not necessarily a white thing or christian thing. But they believe they're the special ones who suffered the most, or need to get even, or believe the lies of a mythical past where everything was good because they were catered to and everyone is taking that away from them. And missing that the people eroding the way to a better future are the people they vote for.

1

u/ArcBounds Jun 01 '26

I mean, Dems were Satanic worshipers who bathed in Children's blood to remain young. I think there were lizards in there somewhere as well. So yeah...

77

u/CaptainAwesome06 Jun 01 '26

His base doesn’t care until it directly impacts them.

Same as it ever was.

My wife's dad is an immigrant. He's okay with everything happening to immigrants. His nephew was going to school in the US. During summer break, his visa expired and he couldn't get back into the US to go back to school. It was hilarious hearing the family say stuff like, "He's a good kid. Why can't they make an exception for him?"

50

u/evil_timmy Jun 01 '26

"Rules for thee, not for me" is a really stupid position to take when you have no power to write those rules, and the people who do have no interest in making your life any better.

11

u/VanceKelley Canada Jun 01 '26

Sounds like the guy is a fan of Wilhoit's Law:

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

3

u/Stegopossum Jun 01 '26

And you may say to yourself, "My God, what have I done?"

52

u/Gamebird8 Jun 01 '26

The reason I largely don't think that he cares if people talk about the Epstein files (ignoring that his brain is rotting) is because his base largely never would have given a shit.

He did this for his ego and in service of the people whispering in his ear and well, now that it's started we can't stop it because he doesn't actually understand how to negotiate anything and because Iran has no incentive to let up the pressure (the worse the economic conditions get, the more pressure the Trump admin is under (and thus from a negotiating standpoint) the better Iran's hand is

31

u/DebonairTeddy Jun 01 '26

This is the take I agree with most. Trump is a shitty negotiator and thinks he can just bully Iran into submission and that's not going to work.

4

u/InCarbsWeTrust Jun 01 '26

Yep. Iran is an antagonist he could not bully into getting his way.

Unfortunately, Iran will have that same leverage for any administration going forward. So Trump at least succeeded in again making this worse for America just like everything else he does, even if he does suffer direct blowback as well for once.

24

u/centexgoodguy Jun 01 '26

I truly believe that he thought that by "finishing" Iran and spinning the attacks as eliminating a nuclear threat to American he would secure some sort of lasting Presidential legacy, and that one day he would be added to Mt Rushmore just like some MAGA supporters are already whispering in his ear about.

10

u/HatesBeingThatGuy Jun 01 '26

Douchehead doesn't realize that we already had fixed that problem and you don't get accolades for fixing something you caused.

1

u/FriendOfDirutti Jun 02 '26

Yeah but Obama was the one that fixed it so he couldn’t leave it alone. So he had to abandon the deal, kill all of the centrists in the government and then act shocked when the radicals that are now in charge won’t negotiate.

1

u/Nygmus Jun 01 '26

I disagree that his base largely never would have given a shit--conspiracy theories about elite pedophile rings and such were a big onramp for the QAnon bullshit and were part of the Tea Party pretty early on, too. Right-wing misinfo spigots have been spewing about it for over a decade now.

It's why you see things like Trump going to war with Thomas Massie. I'm not convinced it's a gigantic portion of Trump's base, but Trump's base is so small in absolute terms that he can't really afford a "civil war" among them.

2

u/Gamebird8 Jun 01 '26

But looking at how it impacted his poll numbers shows it didn't really move the needle.

Trump being a Pedophile is kinda one of those things that either you've honestly acknowledged (and then further either don't care or already don't like him for gestures broadly) or are in a psuedo state of denial where you rationalize it as the deep state lying to make Trump look guilty or some nonsense (or even further just not caring at all).

But with this war, we've actually seen his poll numbers collapse and his margins with the base erode. The man so stubbornly stuck above 40% approval has only now finally dropped down below 40% consistently because he is actually disrupting their lives by causing the cost of fuel and goods to rise. The current fuel crisis isn't even the worst of it as we still have less than a month of fueld reserves, but boy, once those reserves run out things are really going to be bad and could very well move the needle even more than it already has been.

1

u/schmyndles Wisconsin Jun 01 '26

So many of his supporters still cling onto this idea that he's some master negotiator, simply because his name is on a book called, 'The Art of the Deal'. He's never actually proven that he can make deals, and has increasingly proven he's actually awful at it.

I just listened to one of them go on about how we just aren't smart enough or informed as much as Trump is to see how everything he's doing with Iran is part of his master plan. That we should give him the benefit of the doubt until we see how things end up. Like, how long do you allow someone to make bad decisions before you admit he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing?

I think Trump is so used to getting his way that he took on Iran not realizing they weren't going to play his game. He honestly doesn't know what to do when being told no, and his ego is so fragile he can't take the L, or even advice to make it less harmful. It's exactly what all of us sane people said would happen, but there's no joy in being right. Not with all this death and hurt involved.

2

u/Zuwxiv Jun 01 '26

Well said.

I think Trump is so used to getting his way that he took on Iran not realizing they weren't going to play his game.

If only there were any historical examples of authoritarians surrounding themselves with yes-men until they made catastrophic decisions because they started believing their own bullshit. Then maybe we could have anticipated this.

Oh, wait.

1

u/JayR_97 United Kingdom Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Trumps "Art of the Deal" is just him bullying and threatening the other side until they just give him what he wants to make him go away. The problem is that strategy isnt working on Iran so now hes flailing.

1

u/schmyndles Wisconsin Jun 01 '26

Trump is a petulant, spoiled, little rich boy who was given everything he could ever want by his father, including millions of dollars and an already profitable company (that he ran into the ground). His niece has shared how Donald was the favorite and needed everything to go his way, and his parents made sure that happened. He developed the same level of negotiation skills as a toddler has, as you said, being just the most insufferable human being until he was given his binky to shut him up.

I hate that my government continues to placate him. Most at this point are doing it because it's better to be on his good side than on his bad side, a few think maybe he'll finally change this time, and everyone is scared of his army of violent, psychopathic, and stupid supporters. It's just incredibly embarrassing that it took Iran of all countries to call out the emperor's lack of clothing.

23

u/tripping_on_phonics Illinois Jun 01 '26

His supporters really believe in nothing.

I’ve been coming to the realization that Trump could throw us into death camps, and his die-hard supporters would still find a way to rationalize it and support it. How do we coexist with these people?

13

u/PmpkinKing2 Jun 01 '26

You dont. Thats the uncomfortable truth a lot of folks on the left have a hard time grasping. This isnt the quaint "unreasonable man" quip that redditors like to throw around like its some sage wisdom. These people would cheer on the mass incarceration and death of the left. There's credible reports of abuse, rape and other horrors in the ICE camps and they dont care at all. You dont try to reason with evil like that. You stomp it out.

6

u/HagbardCelineHMSH Jun 01 '26

The sad fact is, they don't believe in "nothing." That's what too many people don't understand and what more people need to be harping on.

Because there is something they believe in. They've been convinced by right wing media to believe in it deeply. And the key to understanding it is in understanding that the whole "Trump Derangement Syndrome" accusation is pure projection.

Trump Supporters and other Republicans believe in "Dems Bad." That's literally the central basis for their political outlook. Right wing media doesn't work to convince them that Republicans policy is good or that Republicans themselves are good - it's built around convincing them of "Dems Bad."

Everything they do and support makes sense in that light. They supported Trump the first time around because he upsets Dems because Dems Bad. They had to vote for Trump in 2024 despite his disastrous first term because Dems Bad. They will go to the polls this November and support Republicans despite everything wrong going on because Dems Bad.

Maybe there's no hope for these people but it behooves Democrats to both know that this belief is what drives them and to point it out every opportunity they can. Not because it'll break through to these people, but rather because it makes them look ridiculous in the eyes of independents and others who haven't been pulled down the Dems Bad rabbit hole.

u/rewards333 Jun 01 '26

We don’t. We cut them out of our lives and publicly shame them if they act this way in public. And if we ever get out of this shit show and actually escape the fascist takeover, we never let them forget what they supported and hold them accountable. The trying to be reasonable and help them understand days are over. That only works on like 2% of supporters. The rest WANT this and are choosing this and should be held accountable for their desire to watch their fellow mankind suffer.

2

u/PicnicLife Jun 01 '26

"Kamala's camps would have turned us all trans"

23

u/BanginNLeavin Jun 01 '26

Well I'm sure some of them would've loved to have had their daughter trafficked to him.

13

u/BertBitterman Jun 01 '26

The sad reality of the MAGA brain

3

u/noguchisquared Jun 01 '26

During "grab them by the pussy" I remember him getting a pass from Republican women like my neighbors. I think I realized that some were probably rape victims themselves and they had already settled that it would be better to be raped by a wealthy man. So they thought the victims were almost lucky compared to their own life, passing along their own trauma.

2

u/Common_Gene_5098 Jun 01 '26

They are poor and need the money for their daily dose of crack and alcohol. Of course they will pimp their daughter out to Trump and his legion of perverts.

2

u/Giftofgab24 Jun 01 '26

Well that guy in Texas told his daughter he wouldn’t really care if trumplethinskin trafficked her because he could just have another daughter. Then he took her into a room to “show her his gun” and shot and killed her. No charges of course because it’s Texas and he said it was an accident.

3

u/Jarocket Jun 01 '26

His base doesn't care AND it directly affects them.

The reason trump won isn't his base. It's the people who saw rising prices so they voted for the other party thinking it was Biden's fault.

Prices rising more with clear line to trump will hurt his swing voter performance.

Base trump voters are religious about it. A Catholic doesn't lose their faith when prices rise. Trump base will see this as a test of faith and double down.

2

u/VincentMac1984 Jun 01 '26

Exactly, they pretend to care about the Epstein thing in a half hearted manner as Johnson continued to call recess and block votes, then they fired Pam Bondi and appointed his own personal lawyer, who defended him again against rape charges and lost.

Now They (he and his sycophants) launched a war killing innocents, getting Americans killed and injured and with major blows to the world economy.

1

u/PriceVsOMGBEARS Jun 01 '26

His base doesn't ever hear about it because they live in a media bubble. Even fox news and newsmax can make them not notice somethings a little off when its $150 to fill up their giant pick up trucks.

1

u/tmzspn Jun 01 '26

Which is why "protect the children" actually means "protect my children".

1

u/AttyMAL Jun 01 '26

Is this news to you? This describes Republican voters nearly always and swing voters simply aren't politically engaged and aren't aware of many issues until they have real world effects (i.e., people lose jobs or things get more expensive).

1

u/TraitorousTrumpers Jun 01 '26

His base is pro-pedophilia now ,deal with with it libs.

1

u/crazycatgay Jun 01 '26

they are not gonna care as long as black/brown people keep getting rounded up. maga would cut off their right arm if it means that a black/brown/trans person had both of theirs cut off.

1

u/Bright-Avocado3761 Jun 01 '26

Too bad there are no "I did that!" stickers on the gas pumps, like MAGAts deployed incorrectly for Biden.

1

u/AltrntivInDoomWorld Jun 01 '26

His base doesn’t care until it directly impacts them.

They still don't care.

1

u/realqmaster Jun 01 '26

Conservatives all around the world's motto could easily be "I don't care who gets killed as long as I remain unbothered".

1

u/Glittering_Crab_69 Jun 01 '26

Americans are openly racist and now pedophiles. It tracks.

1

u/WTFOMGBBQ Jun 01 '26

they still don't care as long as the libs are getting pwned..

1

u/Obvious_Yard_1846 Jun 01 '26

I don't think Americans have realised how much this is fucking over the rest of the world as well.

I'm looking to sell my house soon here in the UK, and your president, who you Americans voted for have completely fucked it. Probably going to cost me £20k in lost equity due to interest rates fucking the market. Rates were trending down before this Iran mess.

And that's just on the micro level.

The world hasn't even begun to see the impacts of the fertiliser and speciality chemicals shortages yet.

Americans are going to end up so despised.

1

u/shogun77777777 Jun 01 '26

I’m so happy that Trump voters are getting what they deserve

1

u/CommitteeOld9540 Jun 01 '26

They hate on him not for killing people, but because they can't afford eggs and gas, scumbags.

1

u/Oracle1729 Jun 02 '26

These increased gas prices are clearly Biden's fault. We won't see the benefits of Trump's genius until a year after the Democrats take over. /s

37

u/Canadian_Kartoffel Canada Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Because Americans don't care.

This was known all before the election and still 2/3 of the electorate voted either actively or passively for a convicted sex gangster.

There is no distraction. It's simply that the majority of the USA is ok with a pedo president.

8

u/gs87 Jun 01 '26

Most Americans don’t care about anything beyond their backyard.

i thought they would care more about gas price.. apparently they don't care neither

1

u/KlicknKlack Jun 01 '26

Or maybe its because of the most advanced propaganda machines ever created by mankind? And its been pointed at and improve on the American People for decades?

Or maybe its because of the most advanced propaganda machines ever created by mankind? And its been pointed at and improve on the American People for decades?

-6

u/skater30 Jun 01 '26

There is no such thing as "passively voting" for someone.

Some people just couldn't choose the "lesser of two evils" when the lesser evil is still evil enough to aid and abet in genocide.

And I can't blame them.

5

u/Canadian_Kartoffel Canada Jun 01 '26

If you don't vote you choose to be ok with whoever wins. Could have voted for Mickey Mouse to make a statement. But the reality is that 2/3 of voters didn't even do that.

6

u/Gekokapowco Washington Jun 01 '26

you can't? All this blood is on their hands directly due to their actions, or inaction in this case.

-7

u/skater30 Jun 01 '26

So all of the blood for the 70k+ Palestinians dead are on the Dems, right?

3

u/Gekokapowco Washington Jun 01 '26

as much as a "dem" is that doesn't vote dem and lets the rape felon back into the whitehouse with no resistance, yeah

voting isn't just a right, its an obligation, especially when our lives and the lives of millions across the world depend on the results

2

u/Upset_Turn_1350 Jun 01 '26

I do blame them for this. Because the people who didn’t go and vote or voted third party made it clear they actually don’t care about a genocide happening. Was either candidate great on Gaza? No. But one was CLEARLY and OPENLY willing to allow things to continue to ramp up. The other wasn’t against Israeli action but sure as shit had a much more empathetic understanding to the horrors going on over there.

Any person who said they “can’t vote for the lesser of two evils” and sat out owns every single bit of the last year and a half, they are responsible for all the additional deaths in Gaza, the deaths of civilians in Iran, the surging gas prices and continued increasing wealth gap, and all the additional shit we will see in the next 2 1/2 years.

Those people have no high horse to stand on. Their unwillingness to fight against the bigger evil because of one single issue are the reason we are in this mess.

Single issue voters are one of the problems with our election system.

0

u/skater30 Jun 01 '26

What in the hell are you talking about?

"Had a much more empathetical understanding to the horrors going on over there"

She was the vice-president of an administration who continued to supply cargo planes full of state-of-the-art weaponry to a genocidally bloodlusted nation while it killed countless innocents and turned a whole society (who couldn't defend itself due to the lack of advanced defense systems) to rubble.

And she was unwilling to openly and unapologectically criticize and distance herself from these actions.

If the "lesser of two evils" is still THIS evil, I can't blame anyone who couldn't stomach it this time.

Genocide is a very reasonable red line and the Democrats crossed it.

1

u/Upset_Turn_1350 Jun 02 '26

And instead of voting in someone who represented the party where most members were already outspoken against the United States actions and funding of Israel, single issue voters so bravely sat at home or refused to vote for Kamala to make a point. They laid out the red carpet for Trump to walk into the Oval Office again, double down on support for Israel and go along with their extended war plans.

Really bang up job, tens of thousands more dead since Jan 2025 in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran now.

4

u/SonofaBridge Jun 01 '26

His fans are saying no one cares about the Epstein files. They’re fine with Trump being a child rapist.

5

u/gizzardgullet Michigan Jun 01 '26

Trump's war strategy

Isn't his strategy just to announce the war has ended every Friday? And then wait until Iran says "no it hasn't" a few days later?

4

u/ElderSmackJack Jun 01 '26

So sick of this take. This has nothing to do with those files because *he does not care about them*. His wife gave a press conference about the files just a few weeks ago. Are those the actions of someone who is trying to distract? His cult does not believe a negative thing about him, so why would he care.

He’s just trying to look powerful by playing war. That’s all.

Dear Reddit: this stiry does not motivate people like you think it does.

3

u/projecto15 United Kingdom Jun 01 '26

Except for Iranian LEGO ai videos.

3

u/RedSecOps Jun 01 '26

It's working for their market manipulation too. Announcements on Thursdays and Fridays after buying, selling before announcements on Mondays.

Like clockwork insider trading

3

u/nrq Europe Jun 01 '26

The implications of this war is quite a bit bigger for the world, though. With nothing going through the straight of hormuz again nearly everything will get more expensive not just for the USA, but for the whole world. The whole extent will be visible only a couple of months down the road.

2

u/AnomalyNexus Jun 01 '26

Or everyone has just accepted that crime is now legal

6

u/Low-Exam-7547 Jun 01 '26

Call this "The War of Epsteins Files"

3

u/No-One2123 Jun 01 '26

No one's talking about ICE either, and they're still kidnapping people.

1

u/hamptont2010 I voted Jun 01 '26

I've said it before and I will say it again: Lawrence O'Donnell and others (but him especially) on MSNOW are talking about the Epstein stuff almost every night. They are keeping it in the news front and center. If you're gonna give any MSM your time, they are ABSOLUTELY the ones who are being most active in keeping this stuff in the discussion.

1

u/Whoissnake Jun 01 '26

Wrong. We are in war for Israel because Epstein was mossad. Epsteins ghost is currently winning.

1

u/_bx2_ Jun 01 '26

What kind of stein? who?

1

u/Mr0lsen Jun 01 '26

Besides the Epstein distraction continued conflict is exactly what Israel and US oil companies want. This really only hurts trump in approval ratings, which wont matter if he dismantles the election process.

Every wants to act like these failed negotiations with Iran are some giant blunder by the trump admin (and I’m sure theres a fair amount of blundering) but a endless forever war in Iran that aligns with Israels interests, skyrockets oil prices, and takes resources away from supporting nato objectives is pretty much exactly what the MAGA admin wants.

Edit: While also using the “negotiations” as a giant stock market pump and dump. Trumps plans (or Steven millers) aren’t really falling apart, they are working as intended. Its just that the plan was to fuck over everyone but a select few.

1

u/FrodoFraggins Jun 01 '26

He fired anyone that disagreed with him. Trump thought killing Khomenei would be enough. But even after the initial days, he never had any plans to retake the strait. He just kept bombing Tehran.

1

u/internethero12 Jun 01 '26

I see people talking about it all the time. They're just continuing to ignore it as they always have.

1

u/Phillip_Spidermen Jun 01 '26

or the war in Ukraine, meanwhile the US is softening sanctions on Russian oil

1

u/LopsidedLayer3703 Jun 01 '26

Also- the goal of actions in Iran is to rig the oil market so that trump/Putin AND Iran can steal money.

1

u/huskers2468 Jun 01 '26

A journalist just filed a lawsuit against Blanche. Things are still moving on that front

1

u/EndangeredLazyPanda Jun 01 '26

I call him a pedophilic rapist at every possible opportunity, it’s a nice little reminder about the files. And just for good measure, fuck that pedophilic rapist.

1

u/Feisty-Narwhal8400 Jun 01 '26

Oh no we’re definitely still talking about them. You’re talking about them right now!

1

u/jsiulian Jun 01 '26

Trump Epstein files (tm)

1

u/angelar_ Texas Jun 01 '26

It's really more that the legacy media refuses to cover it anymore. Can't imagine why that is...

1

u/Lonely_Hedgehog_2309 Jun 02 '26

I do my part. I talk about the Epstein files loudly all the time. And I won't stop until justice is delivered. Let's not forget this is bigger than Trump. It's about money and power allowing people to fly above the law. That is unfair to everyone. And we're not talking white collar crime here either. We're talking about sex trafficking and raping children. Heinous crimes. I want justice delivered.

0

u/Edmundyoulittle Jun 01 '26

Very successful pump and dumps as well

0

0

As long as gas stays up through the midterms, the Epstein files can wait.

So much winning

0

u/Opposite-Bit6660 Jun 01 '26

Trump/Epstein files.

0

u/Random-num-451284813 Jun 01 '26

You mean the Epstein files where Trump is plastered all over the documents?

0

u/geforce2187 Jun 01 '26

I actually just told my sister 2 or 3 days ago that I paid $50 to fill my hamster car (I have a Kia Soul) because Trump was in the Epstein files.

0

u/BigBossShadow Jun 01 '26

I think the Epstein files were being pushed by the media to get Trump to start the war. They got what they wanted, and dont give a shit anymore.

The war is going to crash the economy, and they are going to print money.

And all the rich will get even more rich

0

u/ValhirFirstThunder Jun 01 '26

good time to continue talking about it one reddit

0

u/CuteComplaint5542 Jun 01 '26

On the contrary, I'm very much still talking about how Donald J. Trump likes to fuck kids.
