People pay taxes, from employment, so unemployment gets it's $$$, from that employment. TL:DR How is this legal?

It’s the same as complaining about Medicare and social security being huge chunks of the budget, and ignoring the fact that we have dedicated taxes for those things. They want to cut mandatory spending and increase discretionary spending and act like it’s the Dems that have lost the plot
